I tutored at SBVC for 2 years in math and business-economics. I helped students overcome challenges and think outside the box, utilizing various tools to solve problems. The biggest issue I’ve seen is students wanting to do their homework but not understanding the tricks that the book authors assume they’ll learn in class. Some teachers overlook or quickly apply these examples in class and the student is left without an understanding of what the professor showed them. My favorite area to tutor is algebra, but I’m good at conceptual thinking so I understand quite a few different subjects! Accounting, business law, business administration, economics, finance, some chemistry, physical science, stuff about NASA, can even teach you some quantum physics, metaphysics, and goal-oriented success psychology! I enjoy conceptual thinking so I love teaching, thinking, problem solving, and have a passion for helping others grow.
