I'm currently enrolled as a graduate student at CSU Los Angeles, working on a master's degree in chemistry and will be done by May 2017. I've done about five years of tutoring starting when I was in high school, in which I volunteered to assist middle school algebra students. Grading coursework, delivering papers and miscellaneous items to other teachers and clerical staff, and engaging in classroom activities with children are some of the responsibilities I've had while being a teacher's assistant to some former instructors of mine at my former high school.
I am a certified AP Scholar with the CollegeBoard, having received a score of 4 on the AP exam for Calculus BC and Chemistry. One-on-one tutoring is something I prefer and will engage my students in challenging problems that involve various applications in the real world.
Often enough, I ask for feedback regarding the performance of a tutor session, and have a strict 24-hour cancellation policy. I am also willing to travel a distance of 10 miles for at home sessions, which I don't mind.
Whatever questions you may have you may message me and look forward to helping you develop a better understanding of the subject you need assistance with!
